In Detail

The EOC-10 is a point-to-point Ethernet over Coax solution that efficiently extends 10/100 Ethernet circuits to over 800 metres at speeds of up to 160Mbps using existing coaxial cable.

The EOC-10 will allow Ethernet connectivity in existing facilities without the need for extra cable making it ideal for integrating legacy networks, particularly where systems have been upgraded from slower, serial communication to Etherent networking.

Also available in the EOC range is the EOC-20 which supports advanced features such as cascade mode for up to 32 units, port rate limiting, multicast applications, NetBIOS filtering, ARP resolving and DHCP snooping/option 82 support.
