In Detail

The ETU-04 is an inverse E1 multiplexer that enables users to bridge 2 Ethernets across up to 4 2Mbps G.703 circuits such as those meeting the BT Megastream specification.

The ETU-04 has a single 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface and 4 75 Ohm BNC G.703 interfaces. The ETU-04 bridges the gap between E1 and E3 services and allows high speed access to SDH backbones.

The ETU-04 fully meets all of the E1 specifications including G.703, G.704, G.706, G.732 and G.823. The unit features diagnostic capabilities for performing remote loopback tests.
