In Detail

The Eoe-1 is a remote Ethernet bridge that allows Ethernet traffic to be bridged across 2Mbps E1 services such as those meeting the BT Megastream 2 specification.

The Eoe-1 has a single 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface for connection to the LAN and a 2Mbps G.703 interface for connection to an unframed E1 service. The Eoe-1 is equipped with both a 75 Ohm BNC G.703 interface as well as a 120 Ohm RJ45 G.703 interface.

The Eoe-1 uses HDLC encapsulation to transport Ethernet traffic across the WAN link and supports 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation or manual settings for 10 or 100Mbps, full or half duplex. The Ethernet port also supports the auto MDIX feature which eliminates the need for cross over cables. The Eoe-1 has additional support for extended length Ethernet frames for vLAN tagging applications.

The user friendly Eoe-1 is easily configured using simple DIP switch settings and is completed by advanced inbuilt test facilities that aid in fault detection. The unit is available in either AC powered or DC powered variants.
