In Detail

Liberator Q (Quad) is a non-blocking 4-port PRI ISDN cross-connect switch with advanced routing and conversion options.

Using flexible Routing Profiles, individual 'B' channels or timeslots can be switched to any PRI within the unit. Call routing is performed on DDI, CLI, subaddress, call type and originating port or any combination.

Timeslots within a single PRI or across multiple PRIs can be grouped in any combination to provide Hunt Groups. If destinations are unavailable, busy or not answered Secondary and Tertiary Routing Profiles can be configured to alternate numbers/PRIs such as a voice mail account or back into the PSTN. Contention or over-booking is supported if required.

If BRI ports are needed, use the Liberator S on one of the PRI ports to deliver 4, 8 or 16 BRIs, both NT and TE. The PRI ports themselves can be connected to the network or to local devices and support ETSI E1 PRI and ANSI T1 PRI (as well as some other variants such as the Hong Kong PRI). It is possible to mix both E1 and T1 ports within a single Liberator Q unit. A-Law – ì-Law conversion is selectable as well as ANSI and ETSI tones for inter-operability of voice devices.

DbManager provides a high-quality GUI interface to all units. Configuration is intuitive and simple with good diagnostic features such as the ability to track and capture all ISDN signalling between ports.SNMP Traps & Alarms can optionally be generated. Liberator Q can be locally managed via a serial port or from a remote location via an ISDN call.
