The CFX / CTX series of 100Mbps Fast Ethernet transceivers offer a simple and effective method of connecting to a host's MII (Media Independent Interface) port.

CTX-1170 100BaseTX Transceiver

The CTX-1170 is a 100BaseTX transceiver for connection to Category 5 or higher specification cabling. As the CTX-1170 is 100BaseTX compliant it is capable of operation in either half or full duplex mode. The unit automatically senses and switches to accommodate for the full or half duplex nature of the transmission. The CTX-1170 can function at both 10Mbps and 100Mbps. The unit is furnished with 7 diagnostic LEDs in order to simplify troubleshooting and fault finding.

CFX-117x 100BaseFX Transceivers

The CFX range of 100Mbps Fibre optic transceivers are available in eight different models depending on the type of fibre cabling and the transmission distance. All of the CFX series support full and half duplex operation and are compliant with IEEE 802.3u. Once again the 100Mbps Fibre transceivers have the same 7 diagnostic LEDs.
