In Detail

The FRM220-CH20 is a compact, 2U high, 19", rack-mountable, 20 slot media converter centre that provides an economic solution in high density fibre installations as it allows for up to 10 chassis to be cascaded using a single IP address.

Power modules are designed for redundent power supply and all critical components are fully hot swappable allowing for online field maintenance and replacement.

Designed to promote choice, the FRM220-CH20 provides a solution that can be either managed or unmanaged, making the range truely scalable, as it can be tailored to suit all levels of customer requirement from economy through to carrier class.

The FRM220 is a scalable range that allows for the placement of mixed services in the same chassis. This chassis supports the following technologies: Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, 10/100, E1, Data, Serial and POTS. The range of line cards available for the FRM220-CH20 are detailed below.
