Hardened Gigabit Ethernet Managed Switch

The FRM220A-1002ES is an industrial grade dual copper to dual fibre Gigabit Ethernet managed switch designed to make conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 100/1000Base-SX/LX with SFP connector. With SNMP and Web-based management in the FRM220 chassis the network administrator can monitor, configure and control the activity of each FRM220A-1002ES switch card locally via the SNMP manager, the functions including bandwidth control, QoS, VLAN, duplex and speed configuration. This managed switch is completely transparent to Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including IEEE 802.1q, VLAN tag, Q in Q, IPX, IP, etc. The FRM220A-1002ES managed switch is available in models that support operating temperatures from -40 to 80 degree C.

Gigabit Ethernet OAM/IP In-band Media Converter

The FRM220-1000MS is an IEEE802.3ah OAM compliant copper to fibre Gigabit Ethernet solution designed to make conversion between 10/100/1000Base-TX and dual rate 100/1000Base-X with SFP LC connector. When deployed as a stand-alone solution, this media converter incorporates an easy to use Web user interface for operation, administration and maintenance of both local and remotely connected FRM220-1000MS converters. By offering 802.3ah OAM compliance, this converter can be linked to any 802.3ah compliant fibre switch and support loop back and dying gasp functions. When placed in our centrally controlled and  managed rack, all functions of this converter and the remotely connected converter can be configured and monitored via in-band management, including band-width control, duplex, speed, VLAN configuration and more.

Gigabit Ethernet Installation Switch 45x45

The fanless Gigabit Ethernet Installation Switch is available in two versions for horizontal or vertical installation, providing full Gigabit Ethernet performance on an optical fibre uplink as well as on local copper ports. Robust and durable design with Gigabit connections directly contacted in the device, which allows short, electrical pathways (EMC). With the Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Standard IEEE 802.3af end devices (e.g. VoIP telephones) can be supplied with data as well as power through the connected Twisted-Pair cable which means you don’t need an external power supply. Thanks to snap-in installation which doesn’t require any tools, the switch can be installed quickly and easily. This system, which is the most compact available, also ensures compatibility with standard international installation systems. The integrated management agent enables full configuration, monitoring and management of all devices in the network and extended functions such as VLANs, data prioritisation (QoS) and Power-over-Ethernet can be specifically assigned.

Uni-Directional Fast Ethernet Media Converters

The CFT-206XD and CFT-206XDR Uni-Directional, Fast Ethernet Media Converters are designed for one-way data transmission across a single fibre strand. Standard duplex SC and ST Fibre connectors are utilized with their Full-Duplex function disabled. Optimized for environments where two-way communications is undesirable, the Uni-Directional, Converters implement factory changes that are irreversible after configuration. No on-board external/internal switches or jumpers are usable to restore bi-directional operation either before or after installation. Simply changing Fibre optic connectors will not re-enable bi-directional operation. The Fast Ethernet RJ-45 port is Switch-Selectable to allow a choice of Forced Full-Duplex or Auto-negotiated twisted-pair connections with other network devices. Even if Full-Duplex links are established at the UTP interface, they never actually transport full-duplex traffic. The converters also support multi-channel, parallel transmission over a single fibre strand by using CWDM techniques. Each channel is transported via its own dedicated wavelength. Making optimal use of state-of-the-art integrated circuits and surface-mount technology, they offer exceptionally reliable, tamper-resistant, low-cost single-purpose converters.

Our Uni-Directional, Single-Point, Data Security Diodes are used in environments where two-way communications introduces the risk that high-value servers and their sensitive data could be subject to purposeful, malicious attack or inadvertent corruption. The resulting loss of critical data, denial-of-service, or its non-availability, can be fatal to mission-critical activities. Uni-Directional Data Security Diodes provide additional data loss protection in the event that malware or hidden executables escape detection and penetrate commonly used network defences. Our Uni-Directional Data Security Diodes forward information originating from an unsecured open source to a restricted High-Security destination. They simultaneously partition the data path to stop all return-path transmissions and completely block the reverse transmission of sensitive information. You can also position our Uni-Directional Data Security Diodes to selectively forward authorized data originating from a secured, trusted source to weakly protected, insecure destinations. It also blocks the return path to shield the secure source from hidden viruses, Trojans, malicious instructions or other intrusion attempts. This prevents the exposure of critical data, its non-availability and its possible loss or corruption.

Gigabit Ethernet TDM Module

With the Gigabit Ethernet TDM module it is possible to double the capacity of Gigabit Ethernet. With the time division multiplexing (TDM) technology two Gigabit Ethernet data streams (2x 1.25 Gbps 1000Base-X) are combined to one channel (1x 2.5 Gbps). This aggregation is completely transparent for each Gigabit Ethernet channel. Switch features such as VLANs, stacked VLANs, Flow Control, buffer management etc. are not affected. The Gigabit Ethernet TDM is equipped with SFP slots for modularity of the optical interfaces. For xWDM applications the line interface can be equipped with a coloured SFP transceiver. For the installation into a 3 U or 4 U Modular Access Platform chassis, the adapter plate must be used. Each adapter plate occupies 6 slots and can hold 2 TDM Modules.

10/100/1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX Gigabit PoE Converter

The OFC-1000PSE is a copper to fibre Gigabit Ethernet solution designed to make conversion between 10/100/1000 Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX with SFP LC connector. The OFC-1000PSE complies with IEEE802.3af Power Over Ethernet standard with built-in AC power supply. (NB: The OFC-1000PSE/A features an external AC power adapter). This PoE media converter is a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) which combines data received over a TP link with 48VDC power, providing power to IEEE802.3af powered device (PD) over the existing CAT5 UTP cable. Other features include Link fault pass through (LFP), Store and Forward Switching , auto or forced mode setting for copper Ethernet as well as auto laser shutdown.

Transparent Managed Gigabit Ethernet Converter

The FRM220-1000TS is a transparent Gigabit Ethernet 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX SFP converter. It can be managed (when installed in FRM220 with NMC) or non-managed, which gives you the option to choose from a wide range of industry standard SFP modules. SFPs in multi-mode and single mode types are available as well as BiDi which allows bi-directional transmissions using only a single fibre cable. Because they are completely transparent to Ethernet packets, they are able to support any size frames, including undersized or jumbo packets (9K bytes). LED indicators signal the power status of the converter, UTP port speed, Link, and duplex status, FX port Link and duplex status.
