Lanode expand their portfolio with the immediate release of the CipherPilot Encryption Devices
London – 15th August 2012 – Lanode, a specialist provider of networking, transmission and data communication solutions is pleased to announce the release of a family of Encryption Devices known as CipherPilot. Lanode are now able to directly meet many of their clients encryption requirements.
Although encryption devices have a rather complex task to address, the CipherPilots are easy to integrate into the existing network topology. Their influence on network performance is as low as technically possible. Encryption is carried out without overhead, without extra data buffering and without any changes to the network devices and protocols. The CipherPilot encryption devices offer real time 256 bit AES hardware encryption at wire speeds of up to 10Gbit/s for all standard transmission protocols. The CipherPilots introduce very low latency and do not create any overhead that would reduce throughput. The CipherPilots may also be used in combination with any CWDM/DWDM system on the channel ports.
Safeguarding data against espionage, CipherPilot may be used with Dark Fibre, WDM and Ethernet links.
It supports ATM, SDH, Ethernet and Fibre Channel protocols with speeds up to 10 Gbps. These encryption devices are certified by BSI for VS-NfD, the EU and NATO restricted, compliant with FIPS 140-2 L3, CC EAL3 and PCI-DSS.
Units available include the:
-
CipherPilot 200 for speeds up to 10/100BaseT
-
CipherPilot 300 for speeds up to 2.5Gbps
-
CipherPilot 400 for speeds up to 10G
