Actelis Ethernet Access Devices (EADs) are compact Carrier Ethernet field proven, high-performance access/transport platforms that enable service providers and enterprises to deliver high-bandwidth, high-quality Carrier Ethernet services with low delay over multiple copper pairs to customers and/or facilities served by copper.
The ML500 is a compact platform for Carrier Ethernet over fibre applications. ML500 comes in a 1RU high by half rack width wide fixed form factor, for flexible deployment in various environments. ML500 can be deployed as an EAD/NTU in a Point-to-Multi-Point scenario connected to an Actelis aggregation switch - ML2300, ML230, in a ring configurations or book-ended in a Point-To-Point configuration. The ML530 EAD can be used to deliver fully managed, very high bandwidth Ethernet-based service for a variety of network applications, including business-class services, traffic and surveillance, backhaul, and campus and enterprise applications. The ML530 EAD is interoperable with any standard Ethernet switch, router or hub. Compliant with Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) specifications, ML530 EADs seamlessly integrate into carrier Ethernet networks, offering five fast Ethernet interfaces and two fibre optical Gigabit Ethernet ports.
The ML600 portfolio delivers high speed Ethernet over up to 16 bonded copper pairs utilizing G.SHDSL technology. All ML600 platforms come in a compact 1U high by half rack width wide, hardened, fixed form factor chassis, that can be easily deployed either as an EAD/NTU in a Point-To-Multi-Point scenario, or at both ends of the link in a Point-To-Point scenario. The ML600 rate and reach can be further extended using Actelis’ XR239 repeaters. ML600's are MEF CE 2.0 certified and support up to 6 flexible Ethernet user interfaces to accommodate different deployment scenarios. Additional deployment flexibility is enabled with Actelis’ compact enclosures that can support both ML600 as well as remote or local power modules for ease of installation.
The ML620i Ethernet Access Devices (EADs) from Actelis® enable delivery of high-speed carrier Ethernet services over the existing copper infrastructure. The ML620i is an intelligent, compact EAD that delivers up to 60 Mbps of symmetrical Ethernet traffic with fibre quality over existing copper pairs. Available with either 2 or 4 copper pairs, the ML620i EAD can be deployed as the CPE in a Point-to-Multi-Point configuration with Actelis’ EFM switches or in a Point-to-Point configuration. Designed as a green, energy-efficient, and cost-effective CPE, the ML620i EAD offers superior performance, extensive functionality and quiet, fanless operation. The ML620i EAD offers rapid service delivery and allows for complete utilization of the existing network infrastructure. The ML620i EAD is Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) certified and seamlessly integrates into carrier Ethernet networks. The ML620i EAD is fully compliant with the MEF 9 and 14 specifications.
The Actelis Networks ML680 family of cost efficient, compact, hardened Ethernet switches is optimized for delivering up to 100 Mbps of Carrier Ethernet services over 8 pairs of bonded copper and/or fibre. The ML680s are extremely flexible platforms which support drop and continue, as well as linear and ring topologies. They are ideal for a variety of private enterprise, intelligent traffic network, and service provider applications. With its superior performance, environmental hardening, small form factor, and fanless DIN rail mount design, the ML680 Ethernet switch can be installed almost anywhere and provides high performance broadband over bonded copper.
The Actelis Networks ML690 product line offers a compact and cost-effective Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) mini-aggregation solution for low-pair count and space constrained locations. The ML690 operates in a Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) topology, connecting multiple ML600 Ethernet Access Devices (EADs) each delivering symmetrical Ethernet services to remote subscribers/locations over multiple copper pairs. The ML600 EADs are connected to the ML690 via a High Speed Link (HSL) that is comprised of 1-8 bonded copper pairs. Any combination of copper pairs per HSL can be configured up to the total number of pairs supported by the ML690 unit. The ML690 bonds up to 8 copper pairs together to create a 2Base-TL aggregated link, implementing the standard IEEE 802.3ah-2004 (EFM) long-reach Ethernet-over-Copper specification. ML690 incorporates Actelis’ EFMplus and DRB technologies allowing carriers to offer higher bandwidth per pair and longer reach per service in real world environments along with the most stable and reliable transmission links in the industry.
The ML700 family of Ethernet Access Devices delivers high speed Carrier Ethernet services over up to 8 bonded copper pairs utilizing VDSL2/ADSL2+/ADSL2/ADSL technologies. ML700 can support up to 420Mbps downstream and up to 160Mbps upstream. All ML700 platforms come in a compact 1RU high by half rack width wide, hardened, fixed form factor that can be flexibly deployed either as an EAD/NTU in a Point-To-Multi-Point scenario, or at both ends of the link in a Point-To-Point scenario.ML700 link rate and reach can be extended using Actelis’ BBA Broadband Amplifiers (VBA or ABA). The ML700 offer MEF compliant services, 802.1q VLAN-aware wire-speed bridging, double tagging (VLAN stacking), advanced provisioning using Ethernet Virtual Connections (EVCs), L2, L3 and L4 classification with flexible mapping into eight traffic classes to maximize the efficiency of access bandwidth. The ML700 can be deployed within Actelis’ compact enclosures offering integrated remote or local power modules for ease of installation.
Actelis Networks’ EAD/NTU enclosure solutions offer service providers and enterprises a compact, self-contained, NEMA3-hardened enclosure for outdoor/indoor installation applications. These enclosures can be used with all Actelis' EADs/NTUs - including ML600, ML700 and ML500 product lines.
