FRM220 In-band Managed Multi-service Platform

The FRM220 is a 2U high 19" Rack, 20 slot modular media converter rack. It provides an economic solution in high density fibre converter installations in enterprises or central offices. All critical components, Power, fans, management module and interface cards are hot swappable, allowing online field replacement. The hot-swappable power modules can be chosen from AC100-240V, DC18-36. or DC 36-75V. The chassis also has a pair of alarm relays and is able to stack up to 10 chassis as one management IP address. A variety of cards are available that support different technologies including Ethernet, Voice, Video & Data.

The FRM220-CH08 is a 1U high 19" Rack, 8 slot modular media converter rack. It provides an economic solution for fibre converter installations in enterprises or central offices. All critical components, power, management module and interface cards are hot swappable, allowing online field replacement. The hot-swappable power modules can be chosen from AC100-240V, DC18-36. or DC 36-75V. The chassis also has alarm relays. Management is supported by installing an NMC card into slot#1 . A number of cards are available that support different protocols including Ethernet, Voice, Data, transponders, FOM and IMUX.

The FRM220-CH04 is a 1U 4 slot modular media converter rack, which provides a reliable solution of high density media converter modules for applications such as telecom operator, enterprise, long haul transmission and factory automation. The FRM220-CH04A is a fixed type AC, DC power built-in chassis.

FRM220-CH01 Single Slot Chassis

The FRM220-CH01 are a range of single slot enclosures for FRM220 converter cards. Ideal in standalone or remote applications. They are available with single or dual power supplies in both AC and DC versions. The AC powered units have an IEC (C14) input and DC powered units have a screw terminal block. The final variant is a small metal housing designed for operation with an external 12v AC/DC 'wall-wart'. All the single slot enclosures are fan-less for silent operation.

The FRM220-CH01M is one slot chassis with DB9 console port for local management, which can be installed with one single width blade card for stand-alone applications. The available power options are built-in AC, DC or built-in AC+DC dual power.

FRM220-CH02 Two Slot Chassis

The FRM220-CH02 is a two slot chassis, which can be installed with either one or two single width blades or one double width blade card for stand-alone applications. The version shown has an external AC adapter power supply. There is also a version with an internal power supply.

The FRM220-CH02M is a two slot chassis with DB9 console port for local management, which can be installed with either one or two single width blade cards or one double width blade card. The available power supplies are built-in AC, DC or AC+DC dual power.

FRM220-CH02/NMC SNMP Manageable Two Slot Chassis

The FRM220-CH02/NMC is an SNMP Manageable Two Slot Chassis which supports backplane connection between two slots. It also supports either one or two single width blades or one double width blade and is available with three types of power options - built-in AC, DC or built-in AC+DC dual power.
