ASFOM FPI Series - Contact Closure Point-to-Point Transmission
The KBC FPI series is part of the ASFOM product family and provides unique, user-configurable solutions for contact closure signals. It supports transmission of up to 256 simplex or duplex contact closure signals over either one or two multimode or singlemode optical fibres. Due to the ASFOM flexibility, duplex solutions can either be symmetrical or asymmetrical with respect to the signal quantities. The plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation with no electrical or optical adjustment needed. LED indicators are provided to show the operational status of the unit clearly. Depending on system requirements, units are available in compact wall-mount, wall-mount, 1U or 2U 19” rack or 3U or 4U chassis card.
